LLC Module II Registration Continues

Registration for the second eight-week session of fall semester classes at Lake Land College will continue through Monday, Oct. 23.

Classes begin Tuesday, Oct. 17 and will meet through Monday, Dec. 11.

On-campus classes will be offered in the following subjects: Agriculture, Allied Health, Building Construction Technology, Business,Civil Engineering Technology, Computer Aided Drafting, Computer Information Systems, Cosmetology, Electronic Engineering Technology, Health Education, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Electrical Technology, Physical Education, Political Science, Reading, Strategies for Success, Technology, Telecommunications and Welding.

Counselors are available to assist students with mod II registration Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All continuing or readmit degree-seeking students on or off campus, full or part time, must receive registration clearance from their assigned advisor or counselor in person, by telephone, email or fax prior to registration. Students can register for classes on the Internet by using the college's Internet Registration and InformationSystem (IRIS) available at www.lakelandcollege.edu or in person on campus or at the Effingham Kluthe Center for Higher Education andTechnology.

New degree-seeking students should contact counseling services for registration information at (217) 234-5232. Individuals may apply online at www.lakelandcollege.edu. Students not pursuing a degree or certificate may register for classes by phone, in person at the Admissions and Records Office, on the Internet at www.lakelandcollege.edu or at a local off-campus extension center.

Several on campus evening, weekend and Internet classes are also being offered. They include Microstation CAD, Adobe Illustrator, Welding Fundamentals and Technical Math II. Food Service Sanitation, Human Machine Interface and Programmable Logic Controllers I are offered on the Internet.

The following classes will be offered at the Kluthe Center: Introduction to Computers, Adobe Illustrator, Access and Technical Math II.

Students have until Oct. 23 to add a course or to drop a course for a full refund.
