WINDSOR, IL — On April 29th about forty-five students from Windsor High School walked up to the park in town to start fixing it up. All the students were spilt up in to groups to work on different tasks. Each group had a leader from the community to help them. The groups did everything from taping lines and painting to walking around and picking up sticks. Other groups refilled the volleyball sand pit and put up a new back board for the basketball court. There were groups that cleaned up around the playground and cleaned out around the memorial. After a long morning of work they fed everybody with the choice of: sloppy joes, Italian beef, or pork bbq with chips drink and cookies. After taking a nice break everybody got back to work. The group got finished with the cleanup around 2:00, and had then had the last hour to relax and enjoy the wonderful weather.
