Mrs. Smart was born September 14, 1919, in Shelby County. She married Oscar Smart on February 8, 1936. He is deceased.
She is the mother of Betty Lou Nosbisch (deceased), Sherman Smart of Tower Hill, and Marion ( Butch) Smart of Pana.
Her descendants include 8 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
