SHELBYVILLE, IL. —
Robert and Norma Reedy of Shelbyville, IL will mark their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, June 9, 2012.
The couple celebrated their 50th Anniversary by taking a cruise this spring to the Bahamas with their children. Their children also threw a surprise reception in their honor on June 2 at the Shelbyville Moose Lodge.
Mr. and Mrs. Reedy were married at the First United Methodist Church in Shelbyville by Rev. Harold Guenther on June 9, 1962.
The couple was blessed with three children: Susan Sampson of Shelbyville, Larry Reedy (wife Donna) of St. Peters, MO, and Ken Reedy (wife Marsha) of Auburn, IL. They have eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Mr. Reedy is retired from Shelby Electric Cooperative. Mrs. Reedy is a housewife.
