SHELBYVILLE, IL. —
Jennifer Walters of Davenport, IA, formerly of Cowden, and Luke Brown of Cowden announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mike and Norma Walters of Cowden and the granddaughter of Curtis Elwin McDonald of Tower Hill. She is a 2002 graduate of Cowden-Herrick High School and a 2006 graduate of North Central College in Naperville, IL. She received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Religious Studies and Theatre Performance.
The groom-to-be is the son of Robert and Lisa Brown of Cowden and the grandson of Jim and Katie West of Cowden, Ruth Brown of Moweaqua, and Jim and Nina Brown of Cobden, IL. He is a 2007 homeschool graduate and is employed by Miller Ag Supply.
A June 22 wedding is planned at the Cowden Free Methodist Church.
