Yakey, Tucker Plan September Wedding
David Yakey and Vickie Yakey and Dennis and Rosalie Tucker of Cowden announce the engagement of their children Nicole Renee Yakey to Eric Dennis Tucker.
Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Dorothy Doty of Cowden and the late Glen Doty and William and Kathlyn Yakey Sr. of Stewardson.
She is a 2003 graduate of Charleston High School and a 2006 graduate of Southern Illinois University of Carbondale with an associates degree in physical therapy assistant. She is employed at Decatur Memorial Hospital in Decatur.
Grandparents of the groom-to-be are Jessie Yardy of Urbana and the late Paul Yardy, and Mary Tucker of Cowden and the late Corwin Tucker.
He is a 1999 graduate of Cowden-Herrick High School and a 2002 graduate of Lake Land College in Mattoon with an associate degree in business administration. He owns The Green Works Growers and Garden Center of Cowden.
The couple is planning a September 12 wedding at the First Baptist Church of Effingham.
