Wheeler, Cook to Wed Oct. 17

Fritz and Brenda Wheeler of Oblong, along with Gail Cook of Sherman and Kent Cook of Springfield, are proud to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of Heidi Nicole Wheeler to Matthew David Cook.

The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Oblong High School and a 2009 graduate of Lincoln Trail College Nursing Program. She is employed as a registered nurse at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

She is the granddaughter of Rozella Andes of Findlay and the late Orval and Lillie Wheeler of Westfield.

The future groom is a 2001 graduate of Williamsville High School and a 2005 graduate of the U of I at Springfield. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and is employed at Oak Express in Springfield.

He is the grandson of Ruby Cook and the late Claud Cook of Sherman and Bob and Donna Cook of Pana.

The wedding will be held at the Living Faith Baptist Church in Sherman on Saturday, October 17, 2009, with a reception following at the Knight of Columbus Hall in Springfield.

The couple will reside in Chatham.
