Westervelt Christian Church Homecoming Sunday

SHELBYVILLE, IL. — Westervelt Christian Church will hold its Homecoming activities on Sunday, October 10, beginning with worship service at 10 a.m.

Dinner and fellowship will begin at 12 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish. Meats, drinks and table service will be furnished.

A special program will begin at 1 p.m. with special music by Joann Clark from “The Barn”, the church choir, Shirley Fry and Phyllis Chapman on piano and organ, Verna Grubbs and Pauline Boehm on the piano, and special by the Garvin family and little Hunter Garvin.

All collections and donations will go toward the building’s maintenance and repair fund.

A raffle for a handmade quilt and other donated items will be held. Other fundraising events are planned.
