Bunton Named SHS Student of Month

SHELBYVILLE, IL. — Alex Bunton has been named Student of the Month for September by Shelbyville High School.

Alex is the son of Heidi Bunton and Brian Bunton. He has a GPA of 3.79 and is currently ranked 13th in his class. His extra-curricular activities include football, WYSE team, Envirothon team, Scholastic Bowl, Mathletes, and Spanish Club. He is the Vice President of Student Council, President of National Honor Society, and Treasurer of Key Club.

His future plans are to attend a four year university then go to Medical School to become a doctor.
