The Shelby County Farm Bureau Young Farmers Committee hosted a Cutest Little Farmer Contest for boys and girls ages one-year-old to three-years old Monday, July 20, 2009 at the Shelby County 4-H & Jr. Fair.
Eighteen children dressed like a farmer for the event. Names were drawn in each age group for a $50 Savings Bond. Winners in the 1-year-old division were Will Glick, son of Chad & Denise Glick, Tower Hill; Kennedy Walen, daughter of Carli Walen, Shelbyville; and Reese West, son of Derek and Lori West, Shebyville. Winners in the 2-year-old and 3-year-old division were Claire Matheny, daughter of Tom and Amanda Matheny, Shelbyville; Rylan Rincker, son of Rory and Ashley Rincker, Windsor; and Addison Wasson, daughter of Dawn Wells, Cowden.
Shelby County Young Farmers Committee wants to thank all the parents and grandparents for coming to the Cutest Little Farmer Contest and supporting the Shelby County 4-H and Jr. Fair.
