CHBC Basketball Alumni Game

The CHBC (Cowden-Herrick Beecher City) basketball program, which boasts three state appearances in four years, will hold an alumni basketball game on March 9.

CHBC finished 4th at State in 2010, finished 2nd at State in 2012, and 4th at State in 20-13. They were led by 4-year starter and multiple all-state center Micah Jones who scored over 2000 points in her career.

The alumni game will be at Cowden-Herrick High School on March 9 at 6 p.m.

Anyone who played for Coach Carolyn Wendte may come and play in the game and anyone may come and watch the fun.

This is a fundraiser and proceeds will go to the CHBC basketball program to help with expenses. Cost is $2 per adult and $1 per student.

There will be concessions: hot dogs, drinks, candy, popcorn. Activities will include: the basketball game, kids relays, adult 1/2 court shot, raffle of a signed basketball, a 50/50 drawing and a freewill offering.
