SHELBYVILLE, IL. —
Penny Banning, Julie Warner and Linda Wagner stuff envelopes to prepare tax statements for mailing.
Property owners can expect to see the statements in their mailboxes about the end of the week, according to Shelby County Treasurer Debra Page.
Installments are due July 13 and September 7.
“We encourage people to look at the back of the statement. We try to put as much information as we can about exemptions and payment options,” Page said.
She added that construction may interfere with business at the courthouse and encourages people to pay online, at the banks, or by mail.
