Welcome to the Grand Illusion

Students at Moulton were treated to something real for their efforts preparing for the ISAT tests--Illusionist Rusty Ammerman and his Dimension of Illusion.

Ammerman is a master Illusionist and comedian who held the students spellbound with his humor and magic. Students were selected at random to assist him in his stunts and took to the stage in grand style.

Ammerman explained, “An illusion is when something could be happening, but it isn’t” and he performed tricks with balls, pieces of rope and photographs.

Madyson Pierce was his first “assistant’ where he retrieved her selected card from the deck.

John Howe-Wheat and Kaylee Johnston were his next helpers and Howe-Wheat joined in the fun, dancing with the magician to the music from “Saturday Night Fever.”

“I have had a lot of kids help me out but you are destined for a career in acting!” Ammerman said to Howe-Wheat.

“The School Improvement Team picked Ammerman to perform for the students as a reward for their hard work on the ISAT tests,” said Moulton Principal Jacque Eberspacher.

The black-caped Ammerman has performed since he was 16 years old and hails from Connersville, Indiana. He has taken his acts of illusion to thirty-nine states and eight countries and has done two over-seas tours for the troops. He is currently touring under the management of National School Assemblies.
