The Stewardson-Strasburg Alumni Association is seeking nominations for "Outstanding Alumnus" and "Distinguished Service" awards. The awards will be presented at the Alumni Banquet on May 23, 2009, at the Stewardson-Strasburg High School.
The "Outstanding Alumnus" award is presented to a person who graduated at least ten (10) years ago from Strasburg, Stewardson, or Stew-Stras High School, or has obtained a GED credited to the Stew-Stras School District. The nominee shall have achieved success in his or her chosen field.
Nominees for the "Distinguished Service" award must have completed at least five (5) years of employment with the school district and show favorable portrayal of school goals.
Letters of nomination must state the reasons for consideration as well as be signed and contain the address and telephone number of the nominating party. Please send nominations to the 2009 awards chairman, Muriel Merriman, no later that May 1 , 2009. Mailing address is RR1, Box 67, Stewardson, IL 62463.
