Herrick Teen Dance Held April 17
The monthly teen dance was held April 17 at the Herrick Community Center and there were 40 teens in attendance.
This was our Easter Dance along with a pizza party. Big thanks to Melanie Meek at the Chandler Fast Stop for providing the pizza. Our sponsors for the month were The Community Banks of Shelby County and Casey`s General store from Ramsey.
The winners of the sponsor drawings were Rachel Allen, Dallas Beiler, Alexis Anderson and Ashton Edwards. The Limbo Contest was sponsored by Bob and Betty Miller from rural Beecher City and the winners were Alex Fortner and Micah Jones. Big thanks to all of our sponsors.
Birthdays for the month were Josh Beck, Wayne South and Taylor Miller. Big thanks to Randy and Teresa Beck for providing the birthday cake, Sharon and Sydney Seaton for taking care of the refreshments and Tad Slater for taking care of the door. It takes effort from everyone for the dance to be successful.
The next dance is scheduled for May 15 from 7 – 10 p.m. at the Community Center and as always if someone would like to sponsor a dance, be a chaperone, do something special for their teens birthday or just come and check us out, just let us know, we can be contacted at 618-428-5767.
