Shelby County Senior Center Plans Chicken Dinner on July Fourth

The Shelby County Senior is planning a marinated chicken dinner on July 4. They will start serving at 4:30 p.m. and serve until they run out of food. The price of the meal is $7. The Senior Center is located in Forest Park where all of the July 4 activities will take place. Carry outs and delivery is available.

The menu will consist of a marinated 6 oz. chicken breast, homemade potato salad, world famous baked beans, home made desserts and drinks.

There is also a kids meal planned. That will be a hot dog, chips, cookie and drink for $4.

Entertainment will be provided by Ken Bast on his clavinova.

When you go out to Forest Park for all the activities on July Fourth, be sure to stop by the Senior Center for a great meal and the opportunity to help a great cause.

The Senior Center depends on fund raisers to help defray the many costs associated with running the center.

For more information or to request a delivery call the Senior Center at 774-2251.
