SHELBYVILLE, IL. —
Shelbyville Kiwanis Club, Shelbyville High School Key Club members, and help from CEFS staff and volunteers distributed 30 Thanksgiving baskets for area families Wednesday morning.
The baskets included turkey, bread, celery, carrots, potatoes, onion, green beans, and corn.
Funds for the project was made possible by the annual gas raffle.
“The gas companies have been good to us,” said Kiwanis member Bud Wilhelm. Donations came from Casey’s and Marathon in Shelbyville.
Winners were Annette Dunaway ($150), Andrew Hawkins ($100), and Bob Boarman ($50).
