First Baptist Christian Academy will be hosting a “Soaring Higher” Dinner to be held Saturday, March 6, at 301 Mary St. in Rosamond, Illinois. The dinner will begin at 6:30 pm with punch bowl starting at 6:00 p.m. The community is invited to attend.
The purpose of the dinner is to acquaint guests with a ministry that has touched the lives of young people and families in Christian County and the surrounding counties for 31 years.
During the evening, you will enjoy music and hear testimonies about God's work at the Academy. You will also be able to meet and hear from Pastor Larry Gruis, Administrator of the Academy and other Academy leaders.
Guests will be given the opportunity to “Soar Higher” with us in this ministry, either through a gift that night or a commitment to be given in 2010. The evening is being underwritten by area businesses, so all money given or promised will go directly to help the ministry of First Baptist Christian Academy.
