Jack E. Lee 83, of Mattoon, IL, formerly of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 6:47 PM Tuesday Oct. 9, 2012 in Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Coles County, IL.
Jack was born July 5, 1929 in Shelbyville, IL the son of Floyd and Irene Banning Lee.
Jack was, formerly, employed at Wagner Castings Company in Decatur, IL for over 30 years. He was a barber college graduate and prior to working at Wagner Castings, he was a barber with his father in Lee's Barber Shop in Shelbyville.
He was a proud Chicago Cubs Fan.
He married Joe Ann Macklin on June 19, 1949 in Shelbyville and she passed away on June 15, 2012.
Surviving are a daughters: Judy Dorminey and husband Don of Tifton GA and Kathy Lee of Mattoon, IL; granddaughter Wendi Brush and husband Bob of Mattoon, IL and great grandchildren: Cody and Katie.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday October 14, 2012 in Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Shelbyville. Pastor Kevin Ray will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
