Betty I. McKittrick, 80, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 12:05 p.m. Monday Feb. 8, 2010, in Shelby Memorial Hospital in Shelbyville, IL.

Betty was born Dec. 2, 1929, in Shelby County the daughter of Douglas and Mary Jackson Price.

She married Russell E. McKittrick Jan. 30, 1948, in Shelbyville and he survives.

Betty was a homemaker, and worked as a cook in Shelbyville Unit Schools for 18 years.

Surviving are her husband Russell; daughters Karen Gordon and husband Ben of Shelbyville and Dana Fox and husband Steve of Shelbyville; grandchildren: Mark Gordon and wife Colleen of Amado, AZ, Lisa Randolph and husband Rob of Shelbyville, Tisha Armstrong and husband Dan of Mt. Auburn, IL and Jason Fox and wife Colleena of Shelbyville; great grandchildren: Devon Randolph of Shelbyville, Kaylee RRandolph of Shelbyville, Nina Gordon of Amado, AZ, Kayla Gordon of Pana, IL, Trent Horton of Moweaqua, IL, Trevor Horton of Moweaqua, IL, Shauna Klauser of Shelbyville, Seth Klauser of Shelbyville, Stuart Klauser of Shelbyville, Taylor Armstrong of Windsor, IL, Tyler Armstrong of Mt Auburn, IL, Megan Knearem of Shelbyville and Madison Fox of Findlay, IL; brothers and sisters: Wanda Havener and husband Robert of St. Joseph, IL, Linda Lemon and husband Larry of Charlotte, NC, Bill Price and wife Billie of Sullivan, IL, Larry Price and wife Sharon of Sedalia, MO, Jack Price and wife Barb of Urbana, IL, Jim Price and wife Darlene of Stillwater, Mo, Roger Price of Stillwater, MO, Stan Price and wife Pam of Lafayette, GA and Joann Childers of Rantoul, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Jordon Fox and brothers Doug Price, Boyd Price and Robert Price.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, 2010 in Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Shelbyville. Rev. Mark Sanders will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Price Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
