Marion M. Schlesinger, 85, of Clarendon Hills, IL passed away at1:05 PM on December 8, 2012 in the Shelbyville Manor in Shelbyville, IL.
Marion was born April 29, 1927 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Fred and Marie Mikes Zenaty.
She married Robert George Schlesinger on June 18, 1950 in Berwyn, IL and he passed away on January 14, 2001. She was a graduate of Northwestern University in Evanston, IL and was a member of Christ Church of Oak Brook, Oak Brook, IL
Marion enjoyed 50 years of a loving marriage with her husband, Robert. They had many wonderful experiences as they traveled the world. They spent many Saturday game days tailgating at Northwestern University, University of Wisconsin and the University of Illinois.
Surviving are her children: Sandy Brix and husband John of Shelbyville, Keith Schlesinger and wife Nancy of Madison, WI; grandchildren: Jim Brix and wife Attalee, Kate Rutherford and husband Joe, Jennifer Kusreau and husband Keith, Colleen Hagen, Sean McHugh, Laura Schlesinger and Kelli Schlesinger; seven great grandchildren and son -in-law John McHugh of Downers Grove, IL
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents Fred and Marie Zenaty and daughter Robin McHugh.
Services will be held soon in Christ Church of Oak Brook, in Oak Brook, IL Arrangements are entrusted to Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Shelbyville.
