Mildred M. Beitz, 87, of Stewardson passed away at 7:45 a.m. Friday (February 15, 1013) at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Trinity Lutheran Church, Stewardson with Pastor Richard Bremer officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday in the Brummerstedt Funeral Home, Stewardson and one hour before service time, Monday at the church. Burial will be in the Stewardson Cemetery, Stewardson.
Memorials may be made to the Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospice, Trinity Lutheran Church or the donor's choice.
She was born September 7, 1925 in her parent's home in Stewardson, the daughter of Lawrence J. and Frances (Mietzner) Moran. She married Ervin H. Beitz on September 14, l94l in Stewardson being married for 69 years.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Stewardson. She and Ervin farmed for many years. Ervin preceded her in death October 25, 2010.
Surviving are her, son, Ron Beitz (Tanya), daughters, Rhonda Vonderheide (Charley) and Dianne Whitt (Dave) all of Stewardson; son, Dennis Beitz (Mary) of Greely, CO; grandchildren, Randy Beitz (Marge) of Kentucky, Melody Smith (Gary) of Indiana, Tamara Boemgen (Doug) of Mason, Ryan Beitz (Rachel) of Shelbyville, Stuart Vonderheide (Tina) and Brock Vonderheide (Jamie) both of Stewardson, Bryan Vonderheide (Allison) of Mode, Tina Deters (Tony) of Sigel, Heather Bierman (Troy) of Wheeler, Justin Whitt (Amy) of Indiana, Sabrina Whitt of Rockford, Andy Beitz of Nevada and Melissa Richardson (Paul) of Colorado; great-grandchildren Chris Beitz (Sally), Tisha Drake (Josh), Priscilla Beitz, R.J. Beitz, Isaiah Beitz all of Kentucky, Megan and Morgan Smith of Indiana, Kelsey and Madison Boemgen, of Mason, Fallynn Beitz of Shelbyville, McKenzi Vonderheide of Stewardson, Gabrielle and Noah Vonderheide of Mode, Emma, Marshall and Gavin Deters all of Sigel, Kassie, Samuel, Stacie, Will, and Jackie Vonderheide all of Stewardson, Kate and Kimberly Bierman of Wheeler, Lauren , Isaac and Samuel Whitt of Indiana and Hannah and Noah Richardson of Colorado; great-great-grandchild, Chloe and Sawyer Beitz and Theodore Drake; step-grandchildren, Shane Smith (Kathleen) of Edgewood, Shelly Herboth (Frank) of Altamont and Holly Buenerkemper (Iftaig) of Teutopolis, Jason Frey, John and Trevor Alward and Kaci Carter, step-great-grandchildren, Megan and Jessie Herboth, Katelyn and Logan Smith, Lane, Kayla and Ryan Buenerkemper. Velma Culver, sister-in-law.
She was preceded in death by brother Kenneth Moran, sister Ruth Miller, sister-in-law, Cleo Moran; brothers-in-law, Clarence and Fern Beitzand Freddie & Aline Beitz, daughter-in-law, Janet Beitz, grandson, Rodney Beitz and great grandson, Eli Vonderheide.
