Lake City FL, formerly of Findlay

Sandra May Hampton, 68, formerly of Pocahontas and Findlay, died July 4 in Lake City FL.

Mrs. Hampton was born September 5, 1939, in Moultrie County, the daughter of Dayton E. and Dorothy May Stumpf Mode of Findlay.

She grew up in and around the Findlay and Sullivan area. She graduated in 1957 from Findlay High School.

She married Billie Keith Hampton on December 28, 1968. He preceded her in death on December 6, 1981.

She is survived by her children Janice (Scott) Rungren of St. Charles MO, Leslie Martz of Findlay, Keith (April) Hampton of Lake City, FL, Linda (David) Broadwell of West Milton, PA; step-children Billie (Tina) Hampton, Margerine Smith, Charlie Hampton and Anna Marie (Keith) Coggins; grandchildren Lisa and Jason Rungren, Shane Goodwin and Robert Martz, Davey and Colin Broadwell, Russell and Bryson Hampton; step-grandchildren Chad Palmer, Bryan and Harold Benne, Ashlynn Davis and Leighla Hampton. She is also survived by one brother, Marvin (Betty) Mode of Sullivan; sisters, Sharon Miner of Mattoon and Cheryl Marlow of Findlay; several nieces & nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Kenneth Mode, sister Marlene Ledbetter and son Robert L. Martz.
