Warren M. “Bush” Nohren, 87 of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 3:30 AM Thursday Feb. 7, 2013 in his home at the Villas of Holly Brook in Shelbyville.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday Feb. 9, 2013 in Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Shelbyville.  Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.    Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Cowden, IL.  Military rites will performed by the Shelby County Honor Guard.  Memorials may be made to the   First Christian Church of Cowden.  On line condolences: www.lockartgreenfuneralhome.com

Bush was born June 4, 1925 in Lakewood Twp., Shelby County IL on Williamsburg Hill.

He married Lenora Lou Jackson on Feb. 18, 1950 in Taylorville, IL.

Bush served his country in the United States Marine Corp and saw duty in the South Pacific and in Japan.  He was a lifelong, dedicated farmer who thoroughly loved caring for his land.

Surviving are his wife Lenora; children: Judy ( Mike) Williams of Cowden, IL, Danny Nohren of Lakewood, IL, Janet (Steve) Dunas of Petersburg, IL, Kathy (Wes) Weekly of Tower Hill, IL and Debra (Mike) Benslay of Neoga, IL; twelve grandchildren twenty-two great grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Melba Weaver of Assumption, IL, Patsy Manley of Columbus, MS, Carolyn  (Jim) Eply of Pana, IL and Sandra (Bob) Bridgeman of Findlay, IL; brothers: Ward  (Nita) Nohren of  Lakewood, IL and Theodore “Tuck” (Evelyn) Nohren of Pana, IL.

He was preceded in death by  his parents; brothers: Merle Nohren, Montelle “Nip” Nohren, Ed Nohren, Wilbur Nohren and Bob Nohren; sisters Florence Monroe, Goldie Wills, Wandalee Forner and one sister infancy.
