Greg “Preacher” Burrus, 54, of Pana, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013, in Pana Community Hospital.
He was born August 31, 1958, in Pana, the son of Emmett & Atha Klover Burrus. He married Lou Clutter on September 24, 1977, in Pana. He was manager of Owaneco Elevator.
He is survived by his wife, Lou Burrus of Pana; children Matthew Burrus of Pana, Christopher Burrus of Rosamond, Sandra Faye Burrus (Mason) of Pana, Heidi Burrus of Pana; four grandchildren; brothers John (Mary) Laukaitis of Pana and Randy (Mary) Burrus of Pana; sisters Holly Harlow of Pana and Monica (Joe) Zucco of Pana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Nancy Ann Batton, and brother Gene Laukaitis.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 18, in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Kurt Feneley officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, February 17 from 5 to 8 p.m. in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pana.
