Vivian Cross, 84, of Toledo, IL passed away on October 22, 2009 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL.
Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday October 25, 2009 at the Long Point Cemetery rural Neoga, IL. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo, IL.
Vivian was born on April 10, 1925 the daughter of Thurl and Nellie (Prince) Burton. She married Harry D. Cross on September 20, 1950. He preceded her in death. Surviving are her children Larry Cross of Springfield, MO, Gary Cross of Charleston, IL and Donna McDowell of Portland, Oregon, brothers Lester Burton of Neoga, Thurl Burton Jr and Jack Burton of Watson, IL, Paul Burton of Toledo, Carl Burton of Lawrenceville, IL, sisters Eunice Starwalt of Greenup, Lucille Starwalt of Toledo, and Faye Welch of Mattoon. Grandchildren. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Henry, Marion and Gilbert, sisters Maxine Cather and Joan Cross, and one grandson.
Vivian was a homemaker.
