Linda S. Lewis, 56, of Windsor, died at 2:17 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2009 in Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Care Center, Mattoon, IL.



Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2009 in New Mercy Worship Center, 301 Richmond Ave. East, Mattoon, IL. There will be no visitation. Private graveside services for the immediate family will be held in Mullen Cemetery in Montrose, IL. Howe and Yockey Funeral Home in Shelbyville is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made in her name at any of the Shelby County State Bank locations or to New Mercy Worship Center, Mattoon, IL.



Linda was born on August 28, 1953 in Montrose, IL, the daughter of William H. "Bill" and Delia M. Brussel Dittamore. She graduated from Cumberland High School in the Class of 1971. She was a sales representative for MediaCom Cable TV in Charleston, IL for six years. Linda was a member of New Mercy Worship Center in Mattoon, IL and enjoyed cooking, baking, dancing, singing, playing the piano and doing for others.



Surviving are her daughters, Jill Sims and husband Joe of Adams, TN and Kelly Wheeler and husband Chris of Windsor, IL; son, Jacob Lewis and wife Jaclyn of St. Augustine, FL; mother, Delia Dittamore of Effingham, IL; brothers, Steve Dittamore and wife JoAnn of Montrose, IL and Mike Dittamore and wife Linda of Neoga, IL; sister-in-law, Gloria Dittamore of Montrose, IL; and ten grandchildren, Brook Swingler, Gavin Turner and Riley Jo Sims all of Adams, TN, Brady and Brandon Brown both of Gering, NE, Kyhe and Kiersten Wheeler both of Windsor, IL and Zachary, Xander and Trinity Lewis all of St. Augustine, FL.



She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Dittamore; and brother, Kent Dittamore.
