Frances Lucile Bohn, 77, of West Union, IL passed away 11:10 AM Thursday, November 8, 2012 in Regional Hospital at Terre Haute, IN.
She was the retired activity director at Burnsides Nursing Home at Marshall.
She was born March 11, 1935 at Dennison, IL, the daughter of Thomas and Lou Celia Stoelting Kuehner. She married Gene A. Bohn on March 15, 1953 in the Dunlap United Methodist Church, rural Dennison, IL.
Surviving are her husband, Gene A.; two daughters and their spouses, Alissa and Steve Welch of Shelbyville, IL and Janell and Chuck Castle of Toledo, IL; a grandson and his spouse, Eric and Heather Welch of Bloomington, IN; a granddaughter, Kristen Welch of Shelbyville, IL; great grandchildren, Ben Welch and Jack Welch and a sister, Wanda Kuehner of Marshall, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She attended the Emmanuel United Methodist Church, rural Marshall and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Marshall. She was a member of the Burnsides Guild and was a 1952 graduate of Marshall High School.
Services in honor of her life will be 1:00 PM Monday at Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall with Rev. Karen Olm-Stoelting and Rev. David Deal officiating. Burial will be in the Dunlap Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-7 PM Sunday and prior to services Monday at the funeral home. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to Camp New Hope of Mattoon, IL, Emmanuel United Methodist Church or to the Marshall Schools Foundation.
