Wyonia Jean Soper, 79 of Springdale, AR., passed away November 3, 2012 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.

Memorial Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Sunday, December 2, 2012 at the Stewardson Seventh Day Adventist Church, 206 W. Main, Stewardson, IL 62463. Burial will follow in the Lower Ash Grove Cemetery in Strasburg, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to the 3-ABN Christian network or to the family.

Wyonia was born August 3, 1933 in Trowbridge, IL to parents Ervin and Fern Figgins. She worked as an LPN for many years at the Hinsdale and Shelbyville Hospitals and many nursing homes in Illinois and Kansas. Wyonia was a member of the Gentry, AR. Seventh Day Adventist Church as well as the church in West Lenexa. She was united in marriage to Ronald Lee Soper on November 18, 1973 and they enjoyed 39 years of marriage. Wyonia had a great love for her Lord.

Wyonia is survived by her husband Ron Soper of Springdale, AR.; daughter, Patsy J. Towar and husband and Elder Dan Towar of Grand Ledge, MI. and Debra F . Weber and husband Ralph of Springdale, AR.; son, Timothy D. Sheets of Callao, VA.; eight grandchildren, Dallas, Wesley and Tim Clow, Hiedi Martin, Melanie Gotz, Kirsten Huffman, Jason and Timothy Sheets; brothers, Wayne and Wendell Figgins; great grandchildren, Elijah and Moriah Martin and Harper and Jackson Clow and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death her parents; sister, Wilma Decker and father in law, Clayton Soper Sr.
