Work Progressing on Habitat Home
Following a wet spring, volunteers are working quickly on the Habitat for Humanity home for the Caudill family in Stewardson.
“The spring had been so wet, but as soon as they were able to get the crawlspace down, work progressed right along,” said Habitat for Humanity in Shelby County Public Relations Chairperson Elma Rincker. She added that the framing and roof are now completed.
Workdays are Wednesdays and Saturdays at the home on 321 E. South 2nd Street in Stewardson. Volunteers may contact Winston Campbell at 774-2011.
“We can always use volunteer help and donations,” Rincker said. She added that applications are being accepted for the next home.
