The Central A&M Raiders rolled over Meridian on Friday as they scored 65 points, winning 65-18, and ran their record to 8-1.
The Raiders started off scoring a safety and then Zack Ballinger returned a punt for a 52 yard TD. Meridian scored, but A&M answered with two scores. Meridian scored again, but once again, A&M answered again with two scores.
A&M was up 51-12 at the half. In the 2nd half the Raiders scored two more times and shut out Meridian.
A&M quarterback Curt Ramsey rushed for 129 yards and threw for 162 yards for 291 yards from scrimmage. He ran for two TDs and threw for three. Reece Ade had 59 yards on three catches and two of them were for TDs. Eric Moma caught a TD pass. Jason Pokalsey had a kick-off return and Spencer Garner had an interception for a TD. Ballinger had two TDs.
