SHELBYVILLE, IL. — Okaw Valley (20-4) defeated Oakland Lake Crest, 21-17 to win the Atwood Sectional on Wednesdday night.
Okaw Valley plays the 1st round of the 7-A state tournament at Normal Chiddix against Tonica (20-3) on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. If they win they advance to the semifinal at 5 p.m. against the winner of Crescent City (12-10) v. Lincoln West (16-0) and will play on Monday in either the 3rd place or the championship game.
