The Cowden-Herrick Hornets hosted the Beecher City Eagles in their first home game of the season and earned the sweep. The 7th grade Hornets won, 32-16, and the 8th grade Hornets won, 52-19. They followed that up by splitting on the road at Dieterich. C-H 7th lost, 57-23, but C-H 8th won, 55-35.
Colton Rauch led C-H 7th with 14 points, while Chad Kirchoffer led BC with 10.
