Pow Wow Calendar of Events

SHELBYVILLE, IL. — The Kaskaskia River Pow Wow will be held Friday through Sunday, September 21-23 at the Dam East Recreation Area (across from the Lake Shelbyville Visitors Center).

Admission is free and all events are open to the public.



Friday

10:00 AM  - Vendors open

12:00 PM - Grandparents Day, Main Street Elementary School

2:30 PM - Grand Entry

6:00 PM - Gourd Dancing

7:00 PM - Dancing

9:00 PM - Events end for the day



Saturday        10:00 AM - Vendors Open    

12:00 PM - Gourd Dancing    

2:00 PM - Veteran's Recognition      

3:00 PM - Hand Drum Competition      

6:00 PM - Gourd Dancing

7:00 PM - Dancing

9:00 PM - Events end for the day
