SHELBYVILLE, IL. —
The new entrance to the Courthouse was opened last Monday.
The entrance, including a new scanner, completes this year’s improvement project for the building which included installation of geothermal climate control for the entire building and improvements to the third floor entrance.
Security guard Joe Goriszewski (pictured) said that he was pleased with the windows which allow more light and increases visibility into the entrance area.
The new entrance is on the northeast corner of the building.
